Luly Castro joined the Southwest Florida Library Network in 1998 and now serves as its Executive Director. She is responsible for managing the operations of the organization, understanding member libraries and facilitating the delivery of programs and services to meet their needs, implementing decisions of the Board, and promoting advocacy. Luly also represents SWFLN at regional, state, and national professional organizations and meetings.
Luly earned her Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Aaron Blumberg, Continuing Education Coordinator

Aaron Blumberg joined the Southwest Florida Library Network in 2014 and serves as the Continuing Education Coordinator. He is responsible for developing and implementing the Continuing Education and training services of SWFLN. He works with SWFLN members and their libraries to research, evaluate, develop, communicate, and engage library staff and volunteers in all types of workplace learning and organizational performance improvement, including technological tools likely to affect resource sharing and information provision in library environments. Aaron also represents SWFLN at state and professional meetings.
Aaron earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Criticism from the Florida State University, and is currently pursuing his Master of Library and Information Studies from the Florida State University, as well.

José Rodríguez-Valdés, Continuing Education Assistant

José Rodríguez-Valdés first joined the Southwest Florida Library Network in November, 2012 as a volunteer; he joined SWFLN as staff in March of 2014! José assists in the overall operation of the SWFLN office and provides support to the Continuing Education and Training aspect of the organization; he is an eager troubleshooter and advocate for good service to the SWFLN members and their patrons. He also maintains member information, responds to member requests, prepares items for our events, and more!
José graduated from Hodges University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies with a Minor in Psychology. He currently attends Eastwest College of Natural Medicine where he works on a Master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine to become a Doctor in Oriental Medicine (DOM).
